How the site is funded
The comparison buttons on each page open booking platforms such as GetYourGuide and Viator. Some of these links may become affiliate links, which means the site would receive a commission if you book, at no extra cost to you. Whenever a link pays a commission, it is labelled next to the button. Commissions never change what the guides say, and no operator can pay to be recommended.
How facts are checked
Facts come from primary sources where they exist (government regulations, the IUCN Red List, park and wildlife authorities) and from several independent secondary sources where they do not. Each one carries a confidence level and a date in the fact ledger. The illustrations on the site are AI-generated and labelled as such; they show what boats, river and orangutans look like and are not photos from specific trips.
What this site does not do
No invented reviews, no countdown timers, no fake “someone just booked” messages. No cookies, no tracking and no data collected from you; see the privacy note.
